brain 8ffa149aa1 Add config example, and allow options:defaultmodes="" so that people can have no default modes if they want.

Default in the example config is 'nt'. 
SIDENOTE: Someone really needs to tidy up <options> in 1.2

Windows support. Tested and working to compile on freebsd and linux. Next step is to make sure it actually works in windows too. ;p. Add Burlex to contributors.
